Il torrente Carron nasce nel comune di Fregona (tv) e prima di immettersi come affluente nel fiume Meschio, scorre nei comuni di Fregona, Cappella Maggiore e Cordignano.
Già dal 1992 il torrente Carron si è dimostrato un ottimo campo di gara per le competizioni di pesca sportiva. Il campo di gara essendo a carattere torrentizio, principalmente nei mesi piu' caldi con meno precipitazioni é carente di acqua fluente. In occasione delle gare di pesca alla trota grazie sopratutto all' E.N.E.L. che ha una centralina a monte dello stesso viene immessa ulteriore acqua tanto da far si che il campo di gara torrente Carron sia sempre omogeneo nella pesca.
