PARKING SUGGESTIONS:
TAKE THE SMALL ROAD OFF THE ROUNDABOUT WHICH IS IMMEDIATELY WEST OF THE RIVER TAY ON THE CROSS TAY LINK ROAD. THERE IS A PARKING AREA AT N 56° 25.705 W 003° 28.140, QUITE CLOSE TO THE CACHE.
OR:
TAKE RUTHVENFIELD ROAD OFF THE INVERALMOND ROUNDABOUT, THEN FIRST RIGHT TOWARDS THE PARKING AREA. PLEASE PARK AT THE SUGGESTED PARKING PLACE. THE CACHE IS NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE FROM THE A9 BY CAR, BUT MAY BE ACCESSIBLE VIA THE CYCLE PATH. After crossing the bridge follow the riverside path immediately to the right. This will take you to the River Tay where fishermen can generally be seen. If you have time enjoy a wee stroll along the peaceful river bank.
On the opposite bank, slightly to the north is an area called Bowmen's Fold. This name is applied to a small strip of ground in Scone Park; it was once enclosed by a hedge, but how it obtained the name is not known - certainly we have never seen any archers here!
