SCT Army Memorial Day Cache Traditional Cache

In honor of Memorial Day I have put out 5 caches including this one. Marine, Air Force, Army, Navy and one for in memory of.... Wanted to stil keep ALL the branches alive this one has been relocated on the Silver Comet Trail for a pernament home. 
My family represents all branches of service. Yes this does make it interesting at the holiday dinner table in case you were wondering. Or during the Army/Navy games ect.

Ok so who in the family was Army? Humm?? ... I served the US Army!! Joined almost a year out of high school, took basic training at Fort Jackson, SC then to Fort Huachuca, AZ for training and was instructor there after graduation. Until orders came to spent the rest of my enlistment (3 years) in Panama,  Republic of Panama stationed and took part in "Operation Just Cause". My Son was also born in Panama while I was stationed there Dec 23, 1989. This was back before cell phones, computers were common, email or modern day communicatons. We only had snail mail, occassional call home for "short" talks less then 10 minutes at a time. Relied heavily on friends to send care packages of common goods and news from state side. But loved liviing in Central America have great memories and a life experience I will never forget.
