Wee ZZZs on the A9 (N) - Pedal Power Traditional Geocache

A series of caches on our favourite part of the A9 between Perth and Carrbridge. Set at places where you can stop, have a rest & enjoy the scenery.

Please note we have labelled these caches for north or south bound so that you do not need to cross the A9 to reach them. The exception is Tufty's Playtime at Ballinluig which can be accessed either way thanks to a flyover.

Take the Calvine & Struan turn off (B847) from the A9.

This cache is on the cycle track but you can take your vehicle along it. Shortly after turning off the A9 turn right into the cycle track/road, and head back parallel to the A9, (if you come to the Struan turn off you have gone too far).

You are now on the old A9 - can you imagine (or like us, remember!) what it would be like to head North on roads like this?.

Unless on foot or bike you will need to turn round and go back out the way you came in but there is plenty room to do this near the GZ. (we have easily turned a 25ft campervan).

Nice quiet place to stretch the legs and have a wee break. Only a very occasional vehicle uses this road, and they will be looking out for cyclists/pedestrians.

If you have bikes with you, it is a good surface & easy for little ones.
