Geocache Description:

An easy find between a powerline trail and Paradis Lane.

To access this cache, exit the Glenn Highway at the Mirror Lake exit (from either direction), and turn onto Old Glenn Highway heading outbound towards Palmer.  The easiest access point for this cache is a pullout on the North side of the road next to a cell tower.  CAREFULLY cross the highway to access the powerline trail.  This is also a good starting point to pick up a trail of caches along the powerline trail between the Paradis Lane neighborhood and Thunderbird Drive.

I hid this cache to commemorate the upcoming performance of 70's rock powerhouses Blue Oyster Cult and Bachman &Turner (f/k/a Bachman Turner Overdrive) at the Alaska State Fair later tonight.  I was a big BOC fan growing up in Anchorage.  I believe they played there twice while I was in high school in the 80's and, tragically, I was out of town both times.  Third time's the charm.  Don't forget to join
