Long Way From The Jersey Shore Traditional Geocache

This cache was places during the 2014 Abandon Turnpike Adventure. We were able to actually drive along the old turnpike for the event, which was phenomenal! The Jersey barrier, also known as the New Jersey wall, was developed by the Stevens Institute Of Technology in the 1950's in New Jersey, under the direction of the New Jersey State Highway Department to divide multiple lanes on a highway. You will be looking for a small plastic lock 'n lock. You will have to bring a pen, but there is room for trackables, etc. in the container.
