Geocache Description:

*** Caution ***
The Cache is at the given coordinates.

This area is under 24 hour video surveillance.
Park Hours are 7:00am to Sunset, Obey Them!!!

I was recently perusing my stats and something caught my attention. It showed whose caches I had found the most. Can you guess who? Second wasn't even close. What I liked best is they do so many different types of hides. Of course traditionals, but they hid multies, mysteries and earthcaches too. They also hosted plenty of events. So to show my appreciation for all their hard work and contribution to my geocaching experience, I thought I would dedicate a tribute challenge cache in their honor.

To qualify to log this cache on-line you must have found at least 50 hides from any single cacher and at least 25 must be non-traditional. Challenge cache rules stipulate that I can't make it a particular cacher but Dopey Duck is preferred. Adopted caches count if they are the current caretaker or the original hider. As proof you must provide a list which includes the cache code, type and name, the hider and the date you found the cache. The list must be sorted by cache type. I have included a note of my caches that qualify as a sample. On my way out to scout a location for the cache I stopped to find my 25th non-traditional hide and qualify myself. Of course you are welcome to visit the cache, sign the physical log, trade items, etc. at any time, just don't log on-line until you meet the prerequisites.

I encourage in your logs to reminisce a little. My first FTF was a Dopey Duck cache “Ride Sally Ride”. My first mystery cache find was their “Booby Prize”. I was looking at the listing the other day and it mentioned there were USB memory drives in it. They were a whopping 32mb, that’s right mega-bytes, of course I remember when 20mb hard drives were a big deal.

The difficulty rating I’m giving this is based on the prerequisites. Finding fifty caches is not an easy feat. The terrain rating is for the walking distance from the suggested parking area. It is about a half mile one-way with a little grade.

As I said before this is in a park that closes at sunset. Respect the park’s rules or they may require the caches removal and you don’t want that on your conscience I’m sure. Also the area is under twenty four hour video surveillance, so they will know.

This cache has been placed with the approval of park authorities. Please be mindful of your surroundings and most of all enjoy the area.
