This geocache/letterbox can be found by using your GPSr, but can also be located by following the directions in the following poem. I hope you'll try to find it without the use of your device!
Come on out to Brunswick to visit this park
Daytime or evening-- before it gets dark.
I've hidden a letterbox for you to find.
You can use your device or just follow this rhyme!
From the lot you must simply walk north to the post
Go left to the Nature Trail (You'll be walking the most.)
Reach the fork in the path, and there you'll turn right.
Proceed down the trail-- there are beautiful sights!
The breeze in the trees makes them sway, creak and groan.
When you get to the "steps" see the ledge of sandstone.
Only fifty feet later, look left, you will see
A majestic old sentinel-- a great fallen tree.
Cross over the scout's bridge, to the right you will veer.
Over second bridge, third bridge-- You're getting near!
Hundred fifty feet later's the stump of a tree
Eighty paces beyond, 'tween two trees you will be.
Look left and a tangle of vines you will see.
And then, right beside them, a multi-trunked tree.
Now you must go off-trail to discover my stash,
It is nestled inside there-- the geocache!
Sign your name to the log, swap some SWAG if you'd like.
After that you may want to continue your hike.
You may back track, returning the way that you came,
Or just finish the loop, adding smiles to your name!
You are looking for a small Lock & Lock container covered with camouflage duct tape. Please bring a pen with you to sign the log.
There is a rubber stamp inside this container. IT IS NOT SWAG! Please do not take it! Letterboxers, please bring your own ink. There is no ink pad in the container.
