Geocache Description:

Our friends DougyB and TheWhytes are sharing a 50th birthday on Sept 12th, so what better way to celebrate, then 50 new caches!!!  happy day!!

Couchiching (it's spelled out on the street sign) is pronounced COOCH CHI CHING. It is rumoured to mean lake of many winds, but more likely comes from the Ojibway word Gojijing meaning inlet.  Either way, The lake is small but mighty.  The wind can whip up and change without warning, but for the most part it is a fairly calm, warm and shallow lake. The deepest point is about 37 feet, near the north end. If you continue  down the road, you can get a nice view, from the Monument to Bouncy Bunny Cache.

This is a small thermos container.
