The view from the A9 looking up Loch Garry is one that never fails to impress us - no matter the season or weather.
Watch out for the Dalnaspidal turn just after the dual carriageway ends and follow the road down to park near the railway crossing. Walk back up on to the bridge for a better view or you can walk across the railway (carefully!!) and follow the track down to the start of the loch. It is possible to walk right over to Loch Rannoch - about twelve miles. Keep dogs under control since livestock is likely to be roaming free.
There was also a battle fought here - The Battle of Dalnaspidal was a battle during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms and one of the last engagements of the Scottish Civil War, bringing an end to the Royalist rising of 1651 to 1654.
You are looking for a small lock N lock box in a cammo bag at a spot that was a ready made hide.
Cache box has some swaps and room for small trackables or coins. Note the 'bean' pen is not a swap and stays with the cache.
