Geocache Description:

A series of caches on our favourite part of the A9 between Perth and Carrbridge. Set at places where you can stop, have a rest & enjoy the scenery.

Please note we have labelled these caches for north or south bound so that you do not need to cross the A9 to reach them. The exception is Tufty's Playtime at Ballinluig which can be accessed either way thanks to a flyover.

Popular car park for Munro baggers with great views across to Coire Fhar and down to Coire Creagach in the distance to the south.

The Drumochter Munros are:

Geal-charn (917m, Munro 278)
A'Mharconaich (975m, Munro 181)
Beinn Udlamain (1011m, Munro 119)
Sgairneach Mhor (991m, Munro 155)
A'Bhuidheanach Bheag (936m, Munro 240)
Carn na Caim (941m, Munro 233)
Meall Chuaich (951m, Munro 214)

But you have to be very well prepared and outfitted to tackle the Scottish Munros so just enjoy the scenery, watch the river or take a saunter up the track a way.

Following the fence to the cache may be boggy - it may be better to go along the cycle track then down the slope (carefully!!)

You are looking for a small lock N lock box in a cammo bag.

Cache box has some swaps and room for small trackables or coins. Note the 'bean' pen is not a swap and stays with the cache.
