Fred's New Place Jumpstart Traditional Cache

Fred's New Place is coming!

The new Detroit store on the site of the old Redford High School is just starting construction.

In anticipation of the new store and caches, I've hidden a Geocache very close to the new location.

The $22 million project will feature a retail, grocery and garden center. The Michigan Economic Development Corp provided brownfield tax credits worth $3.3 million from the state and $6.5 million from local government entities.

This is an urban cache, While it is available 24 hours and is in a residential neighborhood, This is in Detroit and there are a number of abandoned homes nearby.

Night caching is not recommended.
