Geocache Description:

This is a cache is hybrid between a simple multicache and a traditional cache. The reviewer suggested I will make it a Multi rather then a Trad. so I hope you will enjoy this nice Multicache. The posted coordinates will place you near the cache but read the description on how to find it.

About the area

The cache is located in Laurier Park. Sir Wilfrid Laurier (1841-1919), lawyer, politician and Prime Minister.

So called because the park is located along Laurier Avenue. This name reminds Sir Wilfrid Laurier (1841-1919), lawyer and statesman, Prime Minister of Canada from 1896 to 1911 Laurier also a member of the Imperial Privy Council in 1897.

In this park, better known as Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, there is a statue of Queen Isabella the Catholic of Spain, monument is unveiled on 12 October 1959 by the mayor of Montreal. This is the Consul General of Spain returns the statue to the City of Montreal on behalf of the Institute of Hispanic Culture of Madrid, on the occasion of 467th anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.

Sir Wilfrid Laurier has its own monument in the Dominion Square (now Dorchester Square).

In the park there is a free WiFi, table tennis, soccer, workout area, ball courts and of course a swimming pool that is free during the days of the week (and its just near GZ)

So it’s a nice park but how do I get to the cache

Well its simple:

1. Standing at the posted coordinated look straight ahead in NE direction (about 60 degrees) you will see black-metallic devices to tie your bicycles. How many are there? Let that Number be X

2. Now look at the wooden benches start counting (double benches count as one) from right or SE (start at the bench near the wall) to your left or NW (the bench near the wall is the last one) when you get to (X+1) stop and look for a magnetic micro !
