Geocache Description:

A magnetic nano cache by the side of the A40 which runs through the middle of the village.

This is one of a small series of caches located in Weston-under-Penyard (located 2 miles east of Ross-on-Wye on the A40) placed by Weston Wanderers. They provide a nice cluster of finds, all within close proximity of each other. Additional caches may be placed in due course…

There are also a couple of non-related caches located nearby

The village and parish of Weston-under-Penyard has a long and rich history, dating back to the former Roman settlement of Ariconium. The name Ariconium is Roman-British and may have an equivalent in or near the Roman province of Galatia.

Please note that you cannot access this cache directly from the A40, you need to use the raised footpath running alongside. The path is usually free from muggles, but as always, discretion is advised... Good Luck
