Geocache Description:

This is along the Willow Creek Loop Trail. Easy hike for all, bring the dog and play at Willow Creek Park or park at the trailhead on East Meadows Drive.   Great views of the Canyons Ski Resort and Round Valley.

The Ancient Grove consists of several very old Willow trees along the east edge of the trail.  This area once had many trees which were cut down for lumber during the silver mining era of Park City.  For a special treat, hike to the Grove in the mornings in the spring and summer and look for Sand Hill Cranes in the nearby field to the east.  The geocach is about 3.5 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall.   There is lots of traffic on the trail so search and rehide the cache carefully.
