You are seeking a short two stage multi cache that begins at the entrance to the Will May Dog Park. The park was built in memory of Will, a young man that died of a gunshot wound. Being a popular young man, his death brought out the good in many, from the donations that made this dog park possible to the commitment of a young man, a friend of Will’s, who completed his Eagle Scout project here at this park.
The two pavilions inside the dog park were the result of this project. The young man coordinated with the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority to assemble the two pavilions. These two structures offer the humans shade and a place to congregate while their canine companions take in the olfactory pleasures of this place, running and playing with their canine buddies. The young man who assemble the pavilions has not yet completed his final write up, so at this point he has not been promoted to the rank of Eagle Scout; but that is coming soon.
Cara the Wolfhound meanders her way around the sidewalk each evening, making two slow but methodical laps while her human plods along beside her; Bear the Lab meanwhile typically makes 14 circuits in the same time.
