Before the cache was approved it was muggled but has been replaced and is fully operative and waiting to be found!
This cache is located near the Steamboat Ditch Trail, which is a great place for kids and dogs alike. The ditch runs from near Verdi to East Reno, a 20 mile total distance, and is one of seven constructed in the area, feeding off the Truckee River. This ditch was completed in 1880 by Chinese laborers. The container is an 8 ounce margarine tub painted black.
