Rolfe Traditional Cache

Rolfe was a seperate community from Johnsonburg . A rail station was built here in 1864 called Wilmarth named after a woodcutting family. Frances Rolfe married a Wilmarth . Her brother came to live in the area in 1872 and probably the name Rolfe came from his successful building up of a successful lumber business.

This is an easy cache replacing one I had there some years ago. Park at the old gas station but watch for cars as sometimes this intersection can be busy.
