Ab dem 1. November 2013 wird ein Jahr lang jeden Monat ein Cache in der Gemeinde Uzwil gelegt. Es werden tendenziell familienfreundliche, Grössere, gut zugängliche und informative "Traditional Caches", "Multi-Caches", Mystery-Caches" und Bonus-Caches" versteckt. Auch kleinere Überraschungen dürfen nicht fehlen!

Uzwil lebt seit jeher mit der Uze, dem Dorfbach. Das Gewässer prägt als grüne Linie den Lebensraum. Schafft idyllische Flecken. Einen spannenden Einblick in die Uze, in die beidseitigen Vorgärten, bietet der Fussgängersteg hier beim Widenweg. Eine von 17 Brücken, die in Uzwil und Niederuzwil über die Uze führen. Verbindungen herstellen.
Der Fussgängersteg beim Widenweg ist nach wie vor ein Geheimtipp. Unbekannt, versteckt. Und gleichzeitig eine sehr kurze und fussgängerfreundliche Verbindung. Beispielsweise vom Bahnhof ins Dammhaldenquartier

Beginning 1 November 2013, one cache will be placed somewhere in the town of Uzwil each month for the duration of one year. Various caches will be hidden, particularly familyfriendly, larger and easy-to-find, informative traditional, mystery, bonus and multi-caches. You might even find an extra surprise!

The Uze is the town's local stream and has always been a part of Uzwil. A streak of nature that provides idyllic spots throughout the town. An interesting view of the stream and two front gardens can be seen from this pedestrian bridge located on the Widenweg path. This is one of 17 bridges built across the Uze creating connections in Uzwil and Niederuzwil.
The bridge is well hidden and unknown to most, but for some it is also a very short and accessible route, for instance, for those going from the train station to the Dammhalden neighbourhood
