Eastern Qing tombs
The eastern Qing tombs are a big mausoleum complex in Zunhua, 125 kilometres northeast of Beijing. The five emperors of Qing dynasty are buried at this 80 km² large area surrounded by mountains in every direction. Fifteen empresses, 136 imperial concubines and several princes and princesses are interred there as well. The eastern Qing tombs are named on the world heritage list by the UNESCO.
There is an entrance fee of 162 RMB to visit all tombs.

Qianlongs final resting place
The Qianlong emperor was the sixth emperor of the Qing dynasty and reigned over China from 1735 to 1796. He was known as an ambitious and conscientious statesman, who expanded the borders of China, encouraged the culture and continued an era of prosperity.

Enjoy Qianlongs beautiful and restored burial site containing a spirit-way, a big archway, stelae, several palaces and the opened burial vault, which is covered by superb carvings of buddhist iconography.
