This cache introduces finders to the MTRI field station and offices. This is where the office end of research, which the other MTRI geocaches highlight, takes place.
The purpose of this cache is to engage and educate a new public audience that is interested in the environment about ongoing research that is being done within the Southwestern Nova Biosphere.
This cache is located on the front lawn of the MTRI field station which is located at the corner of Mt. Merrit Rd and Hwy 8. The cache is a small rectangular plastic box and contains a Research information card, pencil, sharpener and log book.
