Visiting stage one at the coordinates above will give you coords for stage two in California. Then the fun begins.
Using whatever site you like to use for pinpointing locations, find the general location of stage two.
Find an existing cache in that area, and look at who has found it. Choose one of these local cachers to contact through their profile email. Give them the GC number of this multi and ask them if they will help you by going out to stage two to find the coordinates to the final stage in Lincolnshire.
Once they agree, give them the coordinates to stage two.
Let the cacher know that after you have found the final and logged it, they will be able to log it themselves as found, thus earning a badge on their profile for caching in the U.K.
Once you have found the cache, please sign the log with both your name AND that of the person who helped you with the find.
Try to contact someone new in California, someone who has not helped yet. Make new friends. Share the smileys and badges.
The original idea for this cache came from our friend George. He has his own version of this cross Atlantic multi called With a little help from a friend in Lincolnshire. http://coord.info/GC58R4M.
