The King's Stables is an archaeological site in County Armagh. The earthwork consists of a boggy hollow, originally an artificial, flat-bottomed pool about 25 metres (82 ft) in diameter, partly surrounded by an earthen bank, about 300 metres (985 ft). It dates to the late Bronze Age. The name is probably related to a local tradition that the ancient kings of Ulster watered their horses and washed their chariots in the pool.
The caches are tablock boxes. The first, placed at the coordinates is 12cms in diameter. In the box there is a card giving you information about the location of the second box. In this second box you will find the logbook. The second cache is 7cms in diameter. Both caches have camo. There is parking at the site and is 1km from the Navan fort site. I visited the King's Stables recently to check the coordinates. By my reading, the first box with instructions is 8.5m north of the published coordinates in the ring of trees that surround the overgrown pool in the centre of the site. Sorry for this error.
