Located at an elevation of 8,369 feet and at the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is Colorado's largest natural body of water and oldest tourist destination. The wagon on the property symbolizes how the earliest materials arrived to be used here. It also represents the transportation industry as it changed when nearby Trail Ridge Road was completed in 1920.
