Spent a few days in Wawa with family who I dragged out Geocaching with me a few times. They enjoyed it and suggested I place a few in their neck of the woods! This is the first cache I hid as the area is very near and dear to their hearts!!
The local high school took on the project of restoring and protecting the sand dunes on the beach here. The project started out small with just local businesses helping fund the project and over the years, it took on a much broader spectrum! One of the students entered the project in a contest and the project won the Sea World/Busch Gardens Environmental Excellence Aware!! This award provided them with the funding to continue and complete the project during the course of several years! Check out the posted signs at the information pavillion just off the parking lot!
