Geocache Description:

A border crossing needs a cache.  We wanted to place one on each sign just to the east and to the west of this spot but there is not a good or  safe parking spot for that idea.  This little cache is as close to the imaginary line called the 4th meridian (aka Alberta-Saskatchewan border) as we we could get.  .

We sure hope you don't ask "Where is the cache?" and have success finding it.

We didn't have a magnetic the day we placed this cache.  We put a little film canister at this spot and it has some small swag too. We wanted this to be winter accessible so please do your best to reattach it so it doesn't fall to the ground.

Yeah yeah, I know.  We are not great planners.  Soon we'll catch on and learn to pack EVERYTHING for prepping caches while on a road trip.  In our defense, we had placed all our caches we planned to place.  This was a last minute "Ooooooh, let's place one here" moment.

You know how that goes don't you?  It's kind of like that time when you say "Ok, it's time to head for home" and then 5 minutes later when you get close to a cache spot say "Oh, let's stop and pick this one up.  It will only take a minute."  wink

That's why it takes us 5 hours to drive the 2 hour trip from Kindersley to Saskatoon!  My mother has learned to not ask when we will be there anymore because we hardly ever arrive at the time we figure we will since we found this crazy hobby called geocaching.

Yahoo to Pattidoll on their first FTF! Looking forward to meeting Pattidoll when we next are through Alsask.
