Geocache Description:

A nice walk through a stand of native bush situated near sports fields in  Dargaville.

This park was established in 1919 as a memorial to all the young atheltic men from the Kaipara area killed in the great war.  A short distance from the main shopping area. Just a short walk into the bush, native trees and birds. On level ground with easy acsess off the road. The cache is in a small tin.
