The walk is dog friendly but if you are taking your dog be warned that there is a stile between cache 7 & 8 that is "dog unfriendly" & you will have to lift your dog over.
The series has a mix of terrain - across fields, along a restricted byway, through a wooded area & 2 short stretches of road. WARNING: you will be required to walk through a stream/very muddy path for a short stretch between cache 4 & 5 so suitable footwear is required.
You will need to bring a pen to sign the logs.
Following on from feedback left I am adding a warning with regards to cache 9 (The Treasure of Cortes) which does have a FIELD PUZZLE element so please read this cache page before leaving home.
From parking1 do not go down the restricted byway but go through the gate on your LHS. There is a footpath sign but it is covered by vegetation. Follow the footpath down the edge of the field to Rocky the Rhino.
After Rocky the Rhino you need to turn right & continue along the restricted byway.
