This cache is on a primitive road # 6010 / NF-398 and is not suitable for low clearance vehicles or two wheel drives, please see photos. This road is off the Windigo pass access road #60 across from Cresent lake and runs adjacent to a historical land mark trail from long ago through which military wagons used to travel and one of the first in the area for motor cars. This road meanders through many high Cascade lakes large and small with many places to camp or rough it. If you are a hiker, like to fish or paddle a canoe this is the place for you.
