Rippon Tor Ramble 6 - On the way to the Top! Traditional Cache

This is one of a series of caches on a walk of around 4 miles in the Rippon Tor area.  Most of the walk is on moorland path/track and a little alongside the road. Please use the clearer paths rather than cutting across the gorse and bracken.

Please be aware of livestock and take care crossing the road to this one. Waypoint given for crossing point to follow path up towards Top Tor, skirting around the gorse.

Head to the waypoint on the same side of the road, and then cross carefully and make your way towards the next cache, skirting around the gorse to reach a clear path to the top of Top Tor.

If you can find it there is a fine example of a boulder of granite split by the feather and tare process to the left on the hill towards Top Tor.
