Geocache Description:

This cache is at the Cape George lighhouse in Antigonish County which is listed along with the Cape George Hiking Trail on the road sign when you enter Antigonish county from the south on the TCH.  The view is a must see if visiting from outside the Maritimes.

The cache is a duct taped 1 litre container.  This is a great location for travel bugs as this is a very popular spot for tourists.  The cache is hidden from Muggles. Please hide back out of sight.

There is a long lasting travel bug awaiting the FTF -  It has been in play since 2005 and started in Hawaii - please move it to another lighthouse.

As this is a TB hotel the standard rule applies - if you take one please leave one.

From here you can also get on the well maintained Cape George hiking trail where there is a great multi "CGHT".   To shorten the time needed for the multi you can do part 1 and 2 - backtrack to the highway - drive to my "Bring Your Water Bottle" cache - you will find the north heading trail head nearby - take this to part 3 - backtrack to your car then drive to the lighthouse - getting part 4 on the way. Take the trail from the lighthouse to part 5 and from there you will have your longest hike to get the final (Total time for the whole mulit is around 3 - 4 hours)
