Geocache Description:

The man who established the first volunteer fire department also invented bifocals, wrote and printed Poor Richard’s Almanack, studied electricity and helped draft the Declaration of Independence. His name was Benjamin Franklin. The first volunteer fire department began in Philadelphia in 1736.

The Three Star Volunteer Fire and Rescue was established in 1987 and is made up of your neighbors and friends at no pay.  Men and women who are dedicated to the safety of the community.  This and all volunteer departments, run on the contributions and the fundraiser they hold throughout the year.  Annual BBQ is held in May, Chili cook off in January, TShirt sales, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and the ever popular Breakfast with Santa!

You are looking for a small ammo can hidden in a tradition manner.  It is full of goodies so take something and leave something!   Have fun and respect the property.  Please DO NOT park near the building and do not interfere with the stations services.  <> Congrats on FTF to abbykayy0 and trkytrac (and granny too)
