Cache Log:
You have really got to love it when there is a geo beacon shining out, guiding your way to the find. Was able to make short work of this one using the call of the beacon. Thanks for the fun find.

Adventure Log:
This is a copy/ paste on ALL of my geocache finds between 7/1/23 and 6/30/24 (give or take a few days) 🎱. Read it once, soak it all in, and then don't bother again 👍 - It won't be changing 😛.

For my REAL log, the one I work well into the wee hours of each night to create 😴, please tune in and follow my channel on YouTube @magplanner 😎. I will be posting a daily update of my adventures with the amazing geodog, Ai, on our channel as the journey across the contiguous United States progresses 🙂!

So, what exactly is this journey you may ask? Simple 🤡! As of the 1st of July 2023, Ai and I have hit the road full time to work our way through ALL of the County and DeLorme pages remaining within the lower 48 states 😮! Well over a year and, quite literally, 1000s of hours of planning have gone into making this crazy dream of completing the US map an even crazier reality 😌. From the very start, I gave myself a full year to get it all done and I am on track to meeting that goal 🎱. I have 352 days fully lined out of the 366 that I had set aside to make this thing happen. That still gives me a couple extra weeks of wiggle room to spare (outside of the flex I already built into my schedule 😈) to defeat the inevitable challenges that will arise and stay on track with the ambitious goal I have set for myself 😁.

Yes, this plan comes with a few caveats and notes that I think are worth a mention:
1.) I am not completing all of the DeLorme pages in ID. Just ID, mind you. The juice just was not worth the squeeze, so I opted to skip the pages for that one state. So, yeah, not 100% perfect, but I’m good with that 😛.
2.) I have been working certain versions of state DeLorme challenges on and off since 2010. Some states (e.g. TN, CA, IA) have multiple DeLorme versions. I won’t be completing each version available, just the ones I have decided to focus in on.
3.) I have a complete plan to attack the AK Boroughs as well. It is just sitting on the shelf, calling out to me, anxiously waiting for me to make it real too. Unfortunately, because of the difficulty of traversing Alaska with my geodog 🤕, I cannot yet commit to this part of my plan. I have to see how Ai is faring when we get to that point in time and make some crucial decisions. BLUF: Alaska is going to happen – The exact details are TBD.
4.) I will be completing HI at some point too, but it was never intended as part of this road trip. I met my wife, Mrs. Mag, in Hawaii back in 2007. For some reason that nobody could quite explain, she has stuck with me all of this time 🎱 – A fact I am eternally grateful for 😁! I have every intention of finishing the HI counties and, by extension, every county in the US together in her company at a near future date. Like AK, also TBD 🙂.

The completion of the US county map will coincide with the end of my time in the country for the foreseeable future. I have my eyes cast over the horizon looking toward far off exotic destinations that the rest of the world still has in store for us. I am excited to have the opportunity to continue geocaching in distant climes and places in the future 😎!
