Fordhouse lane was named after Fordhouse Farm and now forms a busy connecting road between Stirchley and Kings Heath. This tiny park feels out of place but is well cared for and, should a train go past whilst you're here on the freight line, very close to the railway!
You can see all sorts of photographs of Fordhouse Lane and Stirchley through the Stirchley webpages. Somehow Stirchley appears to have always been an odd mixture of bustling business with small areas of nature.
This cache is on the 11 bus route and the 35 stops nearby. As it's a busy road parking can be tricky so avoid rush hour if you're driving.
