Geocache Description:

Nice walk on a defined trail with a small hill climb to the cache. Trail head parking is at the corner of Kahle Dr. and Lake Tahoe Blvd.

This cache was placed in memory of my Dad who took my family to Tahoe every year on vacation. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Dad!This cache is in a small first aid metal box. Have fun! A cache visitor says the meadow below the cache is used in the opening scene of Bonanza. What do ya know! We replaced the cache which went missing a couple of days before our visit on July 6, 2011, we moved it about 30' further up the hill in a better location without a SPOR cover making it a little harder to find. PLEASE replace as found do not leave any part exposed in an attempt to make it easier for the next cacher. We live 9hrs away and will have to archive this favorite OLD cache if you are the reason for it's demise.
