I am inviting you to the smallest and maybe the cutest free beach on the north shore of Lake Balaton.
The lake bed is pleasantly hard soil without stones at the designated bathing area. The beach site is covered with sycamore trees, but there is plenty of space for sunbathing, sports, playing games. There are many sport opportunities for example beach wolleyball, table tennis, tengo court. The water sports enthusiasts can rent paddle boat, surfboard, kayak and boat and the braver guests can take surf lessons. The kids can happily play in the sandpit, on the climbing frame, slide or swing. From the first weekend of May the "Vadkacsa"(=Mallard) Bar is open. The menu includes flames, pancakes, burgers, hot dog, fries, bream and the inevitable seafish "Hekk". From June the restaurant is expanding its offerings with hot food, one-pot meals, soups, vegetable dishes and freshly roasted meats. There is open until late at night and you can watch Tv or playing foosball with your friends.
On the beach there are changing rooms, outdoor shower and accessible sink too.

A Balaton meder a kijelölt fürdőzési helyen kellemesen kemény talajú, nem köves. A terület nagy részét platán fák borítják, de bőven van hely napozásra, sportolásra, játékra. A strandon többféle sportolási lehetőség kínálkozik. Strandröplabda pálya, ping-pong asztal, tengo pálya, gyermek kosárlabdapalánk, vízi fejelő kapuk, homokos focipálya áll a sportolni vágyók rendelkezésére. A vizisport kedvelői vízibiciklit, szörföt, kajakot és csónakot tudnak bérelni a Kölcsönzőből, ahol a bátrabb vendégek részére szörfoktatást is vállalnak. A gyermekek jókedvét homokozó, mászóka, csúszda, és hinta biztosítja. Május első hétvégéjétől kezdve folyamatosan nyitva tart a Vadkacsa Büfé, az étlapon lángossal, palacsintával, hamburgerrel, hot-doggal, sült krumplival, keszeggel és az elmaradhatatlan „balatoni” hekkel, majd júniustól az Étterem melegkonyhával, egytál ételekkel, levesekkel, főzelékekkel, frissen sültekkel bővíti kínálatát. Késő estig nyitva tartva az italok és ételek mellett csocsó asztallal, tévé-kivetítővel várják a vendégeket.
A strandon található továbbá öltöző, kültéri tusoló és akadálymentesített mosdó.
