Snow Bird Retreat Traditional Cache

This cache is located in/around Aaron Bessant Park.  The park a veterans memorial, 3 looping trails that are great for walking (North Loop, South Loop, and Amphitheater Loop), and an open, grassy area that is perfect for watching the concert performances or for picnics and throwing the frisbee.  Dogs are welcome in Aaron Bessant Park.

This cache can be found away from the hustle and bustle of peir park.  You'll notice bird houses along the trail that loops around the pond.  This cache will take you around the pond where you may see rare or unusual birds that have traveled south for the winter.  The cold weather brings more than one kind of snowbird to Panama City Beach.  If you find the cache, and spot an unusual bird along the way don't forget to report it to the Bay County Audubon Society.
