PIRATES #3 - CUTLASS Traditional Cache

This is part of a series called Pirates. You need to write down the codes in order to find the final treasure for the Pirates Finale Cache

This is located near a business that sells knives, cutlasses, swords, and other items. The owner did not want a geocache on their property due to a residence being there as well as dogs. So it is hidden down the street a bit.

A cutlass is a short, broad sabre or slashing sword, with a straight or slightly curved blade sharpened on the cutting edge, and a hilt often featuring a solid cupped or basket-shaped guard. It was a common naval weapon. (www.wikipedia.com)

Most likely chosen by pirates because they were the preferred weapon of choice for sailors, etc.
