A waterproof matchbox, decorated with cammo tape (and a bottlecap on either end), is hanging in the gnarly part of a small stand of trees, about five feet up. The cache is easy to find, because I want to encourage others to come here for the view. Bring water and snowshoes (as appropriate). A short and easy hike with about 200 ft elevation gain from the parking area will be required. Until you get to the meadow, please stick to the trail and watch out for horse apples.
If you are so inclined, please post a picture or three. It's not a requirement to log your find, but I encourage you to share your Beautiful Day!
This is the first cache I have hidden in Utah County.
Contains log, pencil, and cobalt blue marble.
Enjoy the hike! Enjoy the views! Enjoy the cache!
