Geocache Description:

Historic Murphy location beyond the 'dead'. Very easy level walk of only 100 feet but not suitable for wheelchairs. Well hidden cache.

7/15/07 - New camera, please take your picture and leave the camera. New log book and lots of extra goodies for the kids.
4/7/04 - Back again after a long hiatus. Contains a camera now, feel free to take your picture but please leave the camera. Thanks...LBOTS
6/16/03 - Back offline, box is missing. Rudolph evidence?
3/13/03 - Cache back on line. Now in an ammo box.
3/4/03 - Temporarily out of service till we reestablish the cache.

This cache is located just beyond an historic location in downtown Murphy. Make sure to visit the court house while you are here. It is our first cache so we made it real easy to find but with a little bit of historical interest.

The cache is a green ammo box but is not visible without walking around and looking pretty good. The original contents: US $1,000,000 bill, a B.A.S.S. metal belt buckle, 1 small plastic deer (found at Notley Dam River Cache), a yellow happy face key chain, a Dave & Busters PowerCard (with some small amount of credit remaining), a Kitty Zipper Pull (found at New Jersey April Fool's Cache [our first find]), a Molsen "I Am Canadian" bumper sticker (in honor of my wife), and a candy red apple christmas ornament.

Note that my GPS does not give the most accurate of readings. A second reading at the cache site gave:

N - 35 05.104
W - 84 02.054

For a real spoiler you can visit our web site and see pictures of us leaving the cache and the surrounding area. Little Bit of the South

The notes below will also give away finding this easy cache.
