For
those geocachers who are too young to remember, Car
54, Where Are You? was
a popular cop show that debut in 1961. The series revolved around Gunther
Toody (Joe E. Ross) and Francis Muldoon (Fred Gwynne), two loveable but
mismatched Bronx policemen who usually seemed more concerned with their everyday
problems than with the crime rate in their precinct. The bumbling Toody
lived with his shrewish wife Lucille, and the morose Muldoon, with his
overbearing mother. Inevitably, domestic situations often became embroiled
with police work. The series was the first situation comedy about cops and
it set the pattern for many shows to come. Click

This
cache has been hidden in a nice valley of an infrequently used park situated in
the San Ramon Valley. It offers
great vistas and an assortment of birds, wildlife and at times, stubborn cows.
If you go in the early morning or evening hours, you may be able to spot
deer, and an occasional coyote, drinking from the nearby ponds.
Although the hike to the cache is only 3/4 of a mile, it is uphill
all the way with an approximate 700’ gain in elevation.
Since there is only one way in, you will have to start your hike from the trailhead located at N37d 48.634
W122d°00.179.
I
almost forgot, there's also an envelope in the cache that contains a special gift for the first
person that finds this cache.
