Ros's Rest is dedicated to my Aunt Ros, (pronounced Roz). She and my Uncle Chris have a static home on the Quite Site, which we visit each summer. When she is resident there this little bench is part of Ros's daily peramble up and down the lane as a rest stop. When we are together she enjoys the occasional geocache and this little cache will be looked after by Ros during the summer.
If your pulling out of the lane from the Quite Site, just pause to admire the fantastic view across Ullswater and Hallin Fell with its distinctive cairn. The cache is a small lock and lock box in a camo bag, with enough room for TBs and swaps.
