I lost my dog... Traditional Cache

Have you ever wondered how cachers find the crazy out of the way locations they use to hide their caches?  This cache is dedicated to D&DtheExplorers who I stumbled upon in the woods hunting for the elusive Earl the Squirrel and who told me how losing his dog lead him to the start of his awesome Creek cache series.  I don't have a dog but if I did I am sure I would lose it at least once.
