To find the cache, you must first locate a very large, recognizable object.
Your clues as to the identity of this object are all located above. Many of you likely see it every single day! I'll also tell you that the object is somewhere within a 3.0 km radius of the posted coordinates and is visible from a road. Parking is available within 30 metres.
Once you have found the object, you will need to note the year it was erected. This can be found somewhere on the object itself. (For those of you looking for a little confirmation, the sum of the last two digit of the year is 14.)
From the starting object, the cache is located (1,224 + THE FOUR DIGIT YEAR metres) at a bearing of (256.6 + THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE YEAR degrees true).
The cache is located at the base of a small-ish stump a few metres off the trail. Green flagging has been placed above as a reference (but you can't spot the flagging from the trail).
