Geocache Description:

A get together to clean up the area!

Plan on coming to meet some familiar faces, new friends and work together to clean things up a bit!

This will be a very relaxed, casual gathering.
Really, you don't have to get all spiffed up to spiff up the park
But, spiffing up the park is what this is all about!!!

Central Park details.

Where: Central Park

When: October 25th, 2014

From: 17:15 to 19:15 (OK, 5:15pm to 7:15pm)

Who: Any and all geocachers, their families, and friends are welcome to join us!

What does Central Park have to offer?

General Event Info:
This event cache will start at the posted coordinates (large parking lot east of Lexington avenue)
This starting location should allow cachers to pick up trash in this park in two general directions.

  • 1) Northeast around the north side of Bennett Lake
  • 2) Southeast around the south side of Bennett Lake
The trails loop completely around this lake,
so take your pick on direction and wave as you pass others working in the park.

I will have a vehicle ready to load the trash that we have picked up and haul it away at the posted coordinates.

If you are planning on coming, log a "will attend" on this page with how many will be coming. This will help give me an idea on how many trash bags to bring along.
