He joined me geocaching
when his life made an unplanned change,
And over hills and through the woods
our boundaries would range.
We found some, he hid one or two,
His kids enjoyed the searches, too.
You can tell what's important in his life
By the name that he did choose.
We called him Mouse when he was young
But he soon outgrew that name.
His friends concocted the nickname Frog,
That doesn't feel the same!
The Lord has given him many gifts,
He drives monster trucks with ease,
Or fixes heavy, huge machines
as neatly as you please!
He puts out fires and rescues those
in danger or harm's way,
And offers service to all those
he meets along the way.
He's saved lives, and he's anguished
Over those whose time has come.
He's wondered, Could I have done more
Before they met the Son?
And so now with his lovely wife
He's known since they were kids,
They take their children caching,
Even finding some I've hid(den).
They learn a lot from caching,
Science, math, and history, too,
And some day when they're searching, friends,
They may get to meet - you!
