Peel is a village 13km north of Bathurst on the road to Sofala. The cemetery is situated off the Bathurst Road 1 km south of the village. It is not visible from the road and is not signposted but is accessed via a gate opposite the property "Brucedale". Please close gate when entering and leaving.
The cemetery appears to have been established around 1884 as there are several stones dating from that period. There appear to be 103 headstones. The denominational portions are not indicated. There is no sign of vandalism and the graves are all accessible.
