Come out for a CITO, help clean up the local environment!
This fall we tackle the Greenwood trails. It's a small area and not too bad when I checked it out, but it could still use a little TLC. With a group of people it should take no more than an hour to clean the area. Garbage bags will be provided & latex gloves feel free to bring our own work gloves. Any children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The event will start at 10am so people have the rest of the day to go geocaching or do other things. In case of rain, the event will happen Sunday, September 28 at 1pm.
In order to make sure everyone stays safe during the clean up, please note:
- You should wear closed toe shoes to protect your feet.
- Any children must be supervised by a parent/guardian to make sure they don't try to pick up anything better left for an adult to handle.
- Make sure your work gloves are suitable for picking up garbage.
- There will be a bucket for any broken glass or sharp objects that shouldn't go in a garbage bag.
