WC GeoTrail - Florida National Egg Laying Contest Traditional Cache

The Washington County Heritage GeoTrail is a game created by the Washington County TDC. Players must find 15 caches in four quadrants. You must complete all caches in the NW Quadrant and four caches in each of the remaining quadrants: NE, SE, and SW. People to complete these requirements will receive a trackable. The Florida National Egg Laying Contest was placed in Chipley in 1926, because of the poultry interest and spirit of cooperation existing in the community. E.F. Stanton, later widely known as the father of the commercial poultry industry in West Florida, was instrumental in getting the testing center established.
