Tarka Trail Four: Chivenor Traditional Cache

This is one of a series of geocaches put along the length of what is known as the Tarka Trail, which in turn is part of the South West Coastal trail.

This series are fairly well spread along the trail, allowing for a wonderful and relaxing walk along the estuary.

One word of caution – keep an eye out for cyclists as this is a popular riding track.

This cache is on the Tarka Trail about half way along the path that makes up the northern perimeter of Chivenor base. It is a few paces off from the trail is a little opening in the trees - a great place for kids to make a den
